Notre Dam. Wasn't too impressive. Apparently it fell into disrepair at the beginning of the century and became a storage building for livestock and was only repaired after "Hunchback of Notre Dam" became famous.

My hostel in Paris. Worst hostel EVER! Filthy showers and these ppl for some reason didn't believe in toilet seats! They had toilets but never bothered installing the seats on any of them! WHY????

Which Hostel? I stayed at the HI in Clichy and it was for sure the worse. This looks somewhat similar so I'm wondering :)

Mont St. Michel: it's like an old medieval fortress town up on a cliff that is connected to the mainland when the tide is low but when the tide comes in, it is separated from mainland France. It's on the west coast of France, I guess close to Rennes according to Leo. It's really pretty, check it out on Google, I am sure you will find pics! :D

o! o! ive been here too! i loved this place! i saw the matrix in french in a small theater after visiting the palace/grounds. the only thing that the dubbers did not touch was Keanau's "whoa" line, a universal term now.

Nicol! babe! where have you been???? sorry Sanf. ummm... I will not use your page as a message board for my own gain. Nice building. I want to go again - we went when I was younger and didn't know about the architecture so I got really bored going through all the rooms. Each wing was built by a different architect! And it was one of the first emergences of arches instead of just a square opening between pillars. fun and games man.

This was one of the many mini gardens behind Versailles. This statue is of Titan buried underneath rubble. Very cool!

this place was under a bit of construction when i was there and you couldnt walk through or above/around it. could you do that while you were there?
